1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using the EasyGetPG platform (website, mobile application, or any related service), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform. Continued use constitutes full acceptance of all Terms stated herein.
These Terms apply to all users including tenants, property owners, visitors, and any third party accessing EasyGetPG services.
2 Nature of the Platform
EasyGetPG operates solely as an online discovery, listing, and management technology platform. We connect PG owners and prospective tenants but have no involvement beyond facilitating this connection.
EasyGetPG is not a:
- Real estate broker or agent
- Property manager or landlord
- Guarantor or co-signatory of any rental agreement
- Legal authority or dispute resolution body
- Payment processor or financial institution
Listings on EasyGetPG are published by independent property owners. EasyGetPG does not independently verify all listing details and makes no warranty regarding accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any listing.
3 No Payments or Financial Transactions
EasyGetPG does not handle, process, collect, hold, or facilitate any financial transactions including but not limited to:
- Rent payments of any kind
- Security deposits or advance amounts
- Token money or booking amounts
- Refunds, chargebacks, or reversals
- Food charges, maintenance fees, or utility bills
All financial dealings occur exclusively and directly between tenants and PG owners at their own discretion and risk. EasyGetPG shall bear no responsibility whatsoever for any financial loss, fraud, non-payment, or dispute arising from such transactions.
Users are strongly advised to exercise due diligence, verify identities, and seek legal documentation before making any financial commitment.
4 User Responsibilities
All users (tenants and property owners alike) agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information at all times
- Use the platform only for lawful and legitimate purposes
- Independently verify properties, persons, and documents before entering any agreement
- Not post false, misleading, offensive, or illegal content
- Not impersonate any individual, company, or entity
- Not use automated tools, bots, or scrapers on the platform
- Resolve all disputes directly between themselves without platform involvement
- Comply with all applicable local, state, and national laws
Property owners additionally agree to ensure their listings are accurate, legally compliant, and that they have full authority to list the property.
5 Owner & Tenant Interactions
Any interaction between a property owner and a tenant — including but not limited to property visits, stay commencement, rental agreements, police verification, document exchange, and move-in/move-out — occurs strictly and exclusively between those two parties.
EasyGetPG does not supervise, control, guarantee, participate in, or take any responsibility for such interactions or their outcomes.
Users acknowledge that EasyGetPG merely provides the means to discover and connect; all subsequent actions are independently undertaken and solely the responsibility of the parties involved.
6 Identity & Document Disclaimer
EasyGetPG does not collect, store, or process government-issued identity documents such as Aadhaar, PAN, passport, or driving licence through its platform.
If any identity or legal documents are collected by a property owner through dashboard tools provided by EasyGetPG, the full legal and ethical responsibility for handling, storing, and protecting such documents rests solely with that property owner.
Tenants must exercise caution and follow applicable law regarding the sharing of personal documents. EasyGetPG strongly recommends conducting formal police verification as required under applicable state law before finalising any tenancy.
7 Intellectual Property
All content on EasyGetPG — including but not limited to the logo, brand name, design, interface, text, graphics, and software — is the exclusive intellectual property of Smurf Technologies and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any content from EasyGetPG without prior written consent.
Property owners retain ownership of the listing content they submit but grant EasyGetPG a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display such content on the platform.
8 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EasyGetPG and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
- Any loss of money, deposits, rent, or fees paid to any party
- Property condition, habitability, safety, or availability
- Misrepresentation, fraud, or misconduct by any user
- Personal injury, property damage, or theft occurring at any listed property
- Legal disputes, police matters, court proceedings, or third-party claims
- Data loss, service interruption, or technical errors on the platform
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
EasyGetPG's total aggregate liability to any user, for any reason, shall not exceed the amount paid by that user (if any) to EasyGetPG in the preceding three months.
9 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EasyGetPG, Smurf Technologies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
- Your use or misuse of the platform
- Your violation of these Terms & Conditions
- Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights
- Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the platform
- Any dispute between you and another user
10 Account Suspension & Termination
EasyGetPG reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any user account without prior notice if the user:
- Violates these Terms & Conditions
- Provides false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Engages in abusive, harassing, or unlawful conduct
- Attempts to manipulate or circumvent the platform
- Causes harm or risk to other users or to EasyGetPG
Upon termination, your right to use the platform immediately ceases. EasyGetPG reserves the right to retain certain data as required by applicable law.
11 Privacy & Data
Your use of EasyGetPG is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
EasyGetPG collects only the information necessary to provide its services and does not sell personal data to third parties. We employ reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect user data.
Users have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data by contacting us at support@easygetpg.com.
12 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Chandigarh, India.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
13 Changes to Terms
EasyGetPG reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
We may also notify registered users by email or through a notice on the platform. Your continued use of EasyGetPG following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must discontinue use of the platform.
