Why EasyGetPG exists

We heard the same four problems — everywhere we looked.

Before writing a single line of code, we spent months talking directly to PG tenants and owners. We visited properties, studied existing platforms, and asked one simple question: why is this still so broken in 2024?

The problems were consistent, widespread — and completely avoidable. So we built something to fix all four of them at once.

Tenants were routinely paying 1–2 months rent as brokerage just to get a room viewing. Owners paid commission too. Nobody benefited except the middleman. We removed the middleman entirely.

Before building anything, we went out and found the real answers — by talking to the people who actually live with this problem every day.

Conversations with tenants

We spoke with students, working professionals, and families who had recently searched for PGs across India. Their frustrations were consistent — brokers, fake photos, zero transparency, and no way to compare properties honestly.

We spoke directly with PG owners — small operators running 5 to 50 rooms. They were managing everything manually with no digital tools, no way to track payments, and no visibility into who was enquiring about their property.

Our journey

From a real problem to a working platform.

This did not start with a pitch deck. It started with a genuine frustration — watching people overpay brokers for rooms that did not match the photos. Here is how we got here.

Early 2025 — The Research

We went out and listened first

Before writing a single line of code, we had real conversations — with tenants who had been burned by brokers, and with PG owners who were managing rooms through WhatsApp with no proper tools. The problem was consistent, widespread, and completely unsolved by the platforms that existed.

Mid 2025 — First Build

We built the owner tools first

The first version focused on the owner dashboard — rent tracking, tenant management, basic analytics. We tested it with a small group of PG owners locally, watched how they used it, and rebuilt parts that were not working.

Late 2025 — Tenant Platform

EasyGetPG goes live for tenants

We launched the tenant-facing listing site. Owners list their PGs directly. Tenants search, filter, and contact owners without a broker in sight. Zero commission on both sides.

2026 — Growing Features

Analytics, direct enquiries, verified listings

Added real visitor data for owners — who viewed their listing, who clicked WhatsApp, what converted. Then shipped the direct enquiry system so tenants can message owners in-app. Every feature came from actual user requests.

Now — Pan India Launch
